Finally specially modified to work as eGPU with Apple Mac Pro 6.1 (2013) by MacVidCards!
After many years of development we are proud to announce the AMD eGPU (external graphics card) for Apple Mac Pro 6,1, which work both under macOS and Windows.
This card drastically increases computing power of the Mac Pro 2013, even for models with the most powerful two AMD FirePro D700 cards. Thanks to Windows 10/11 support you can play any games without compromises, even with Ray Tracing enabled. Additionally, it adds full support for 5K/6K/8K monitors, like Apple Studio Display and Apple Pro Display XDR, so you can finally use your new display in a full resolution.
Only our modified cards are able to work normally in these models. Standard PC cards won't even boot inside Mac Pro.
Metal performance is:
- 326% faster than the standard AMD FirePro D700 6 GB
- 479% faster than the standard AMD FirePro D500 3 GB
- 582% faster than the standard AMD FirePro D300 2 GB
In CyberPunk 2077 and 4K@60Hz resolution with high details, the Mac Pro 2013 in the most powerful configuration, with a 12-core Intel Xeon E5-2697v2 processor, 64 GB DDR3 RAM and two AMD FirePro D700 6 GB cards running in Crossfire mode, achieved only 8,06 frames per second, but after installing this card, it jumped to 40 frames per second, that's 5x faster!

- installed macOS Big Sur 11.4 or newer operating system, up to the latest macOS Monterey 12.7.6
- any eGPU chassis with a Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 2 port with a power supply of approx. 330W e. g. ASUS XG Station Pro
- Apple Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter (only for cases with a Thunderbolt 3 port)
- Apple Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 2 cable
- OWC Headless HDMI monitor emulator or other brand HDMI display emulator (only required if eGPU is used under Windows 10/11)
